Our Co-Founders & Origins
Barcelonateambuilding.com was co-founded by Duncan Rhodes and Christian Petzold.
Duncan is a travel journalist and the editor of Barcelona Life travel guide, which he launched in 2009, while Christian is the CEO of BCN.travel, a travel agency and DMC, established in 2010.
We are both passionate about Barcelona and everything it has to offer and share a conviction that the Catalan capital is the best place city in Europe for staging team events, thanks to its fantastic climate, cuisine, culture and leisure opportunities.
With a combined 30 years experience in tourism, travel and event planning, we drive to ensure that every team we work with experiences the very best of the city, and that each event leaves a lasting positive legacy.

After studying International Tourism Management in Germany and Spain, Anja brings 20 years of corporate travel experience to our team. She speaks fluent English, German and Spanish.

Junior Project Manager
With a background in PR and Tourism, Martina brings a love of planning and attention to detail to each event. She speaks both English and Spanish, and is the first point of contact for all team enquiries.
Agustina
Corporate Events Specialist
After graduating with a degree in Tourism, and working for many years in events management, Agustina is on hand to plan your group’s detailed Barcelona itinerary, with plenty of creative input.
Daylin
Corporate Events Specialist
With a background in Graphic Design and Marketing, Daylin brings a fresh and creative approach to event planning, always with a keen eye for detail. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
