Create Your Own Cava Details
Less than an hour from Barcelona lies the Penedes wine region, home of Cava wine – the delicious local equivalent of France’s Champagne, made using the same methods.
This unique activity takes place in a boutique Cava winery in the Penedes, built around a 1,000-year-old farm house. It consists of three engaging components:
- A tour of the winery and surrounding vineyards, led by a passionate winemaker
- A guided tasting of three of the winery’s distinct Cavas, in the farmhouse’s stacked stone tasting room
- The chance to personalise your own bottle of Cava (1 per participant), by choosing your favourite blend, disgorging the bottle, and then labelling it with a personal label.
Overall, the perfect activity to familiarise your team with the region around Barcelona and be rewarded with a tasting session of one of Catalonia’s most famous exports.
Prices & Options
The Create Your Own Cava activity costs:
- €109 per person for 20 to 49 people (transport included)
- €99 per person for 50+ people (transport included)
A traditional rustic Catalan lunch can be added for €30 per person, before or after your activity.
Smaller groups are welcome to get in touch for a quote.
Good To Know…
The journey time from Barcelona city centre to the winery is around 50 minutes by private transport, depending on the exact location of your hotel. The total activity time with transport is around 5 hrs.
Each participant takes home the bottle of Cava which they disgorged during the workshop (they are safe to pack on flights in the hold). Or, if you prefer, the winery can ship the Cava back to your office in your home nation.
