Best Restaurants For Teams

•

Barcelona’s restaurant scene has been on the forefront of culinary creativity for many years now, and no trip to the city can be judged a success without sampling some of the amazing cuisine on offer.

Modern Catalan cuisine combines traditional regional dishes with pan-Iberian influences, often adding subtle touches from Latin American or Asia to bring something new to the table of Spanish tapas.

Aside from the plates themselves, Barcelona offers the chance to dine in some extraordinary settings, such as millennia-old medieval cellars, beachside terraces with ocean views, authentic flamenco tablaos and even UNESCO-listed Gaudi buildings.

Below are some restaurants we’ve found work really well for team dinners, as they all combine great ambience with professional service and an elevated food offer.

1. Gaudi House Restaurant

A team dinner in Gaudi’s most famous mansion is sure to be unforgettable experience for your team. La Pedrera was designed by Gaudi to imitate the undulating surface of the Mediterranean sea, and incredibly its façade features no straight lines… only wave-like curves! The restaurant is elegantly decorated in marine motifs and is also rich in lush green plant life, with plenty of natural light. There are six fine-dining menus to choose from, starting from €60 per head.

Email us for more details of all six menus, and we’ll also be able to help you make a group reservation for your team. There’s also the possibility to combine a meal with a guided tour of the interior of La Pedrera (Casa Mila).

This rooftop restaurant sits on top of the vast Palau de Mar (Seaside Palace), built in the 19th century to modernise Barcelona’s port facilities at the time. It boasts unparalleled views of the Port Vell, where guests can see the setting sun glaze the W-hotel and hulls of the superyachts moored in the marina.

This elegant restaurant was built in the style of a mountain lodge or chalet, on the upper slopes of Montjuic, the coastal hill on the edge of the city that hosts so many of Barcelona’s cultural treasures. The chalet features a number of open-air and covered terraces, and even a revolving room, each of which take advantage of the restaurant’s privileged position up above the rest of the city. From here the whole of Barcelona unfurls and iconic sights like Sagrada Familia and Torre Glories can be seen in context of the entire city.
